Very easy to fly, and as such an ideal first add-on aircraft.Five stunning liveries (plus one blank one for repainters). Those days are gone, but the Falcon is still the same aircraft, small, simple, safe and easy, but a total hoot to fly! When launched in the 1980’s you could actually buy one assemble it and fly it from your backyard without even having a driver’s license. And that’s for the real aircraft and the superb model we offer in FSX. Both in the real world as in FSX (as it is the first high-end ultralight ever created for FS) it is unlike other aircraft. So the Aerolites Falcon is a rather special beast. It is very much like a small English sport car where handling and lightness more than make up for the lack of horse power. The puny Rotax 227 engine gives you just 27 hp (!) to play with, but connected to a 3 blade prop is extremely responsive. Because the prop is behind you got your face in the wind without the nasty buffeting, the canard wing makes the flying experience very much like a fighter where you point the nose where you want to go. Even with a Vne of 75 Mph (you need a serious dive to reach that) and a stall speed of 27 mph they are exciting to fly. Yet Chuck Yeager flew them because they are just pure unadulterated fun to fly.
